I was getting chopped powers of about 2.3 nW today which is lower than what I calculated using the previous photodiodes. The 633 light seems noticeable brighter to me though. I'm not sure which is the best measurement--all the methods seem somewhat inconsistent. 633 generation is also much more mode dependent than previously--sometimes a lock will produce almost no 633. I think this is probably a result of being at lower pressure (0.1 atm).
I'm going to try to stick to this photodiode for a while if I can. I'm still not sure if powers are converting correctly, but from my measurements yesterday it at least seems to be acting linearly and so I can compare measurements at different pressures and alignments. I should be able to easily normalize any measurements past this point if I discover the conversion factor isn't correct as long as the response is linear. I'm also going to keep the lock-in at the 5 mV scale
