Physical Science Lab (PSL) Dear UW-Madison colleague, Welcome to the new 2013-2014 academic year! Two years ago, the Physical Sciences Lab started a program to help student driven research projects for little to no cost. This allowed new ideas, without sufficient funding, to go from a concept to an actual design. This year we're looking to help more people make their ideas a reality.

For the last 45 years, PSL has helped researchers achieve their goals from bench top research instruments to massive projects that became Science Magazine's "Breakthrough of the Year". Our staff of highly trained engineers, machinists, and technicians can help you make a special research instrument, fix a broken one, or make an existing piece of equipment better.

Contact us at psl@psl.wisc.edu or call 877-2200. You can also meet us in our campus office Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons. Our office is 1535 AOSS, 1225 W. Dayton.

We look forward to helping you.
