Description:
Thermal conduction demonstration that compares the thermal conductivity of metal and wood. Two wooden dowels and a brass tube, 5/4 inches in diameter. Each wooden dowel is inserted to the brass tube on both ends. Wrap a sheet of paper tightly around the brass tube and the inner part of wooden dowels near the brass tube.

Setup:
Note: Make sure that the red and white gas cart is in placed and connected to the utility trench gas line.
- Insert the wood dowel rods into the brass tube on both side.
- Wrap a sheet of paper tightly around the brass tube and the inner part of wood dowels near the brass tube and tape the paper by scotch tape.
- Connect the burner gas line to the red and white gas cart.

- Beware of hot frame.
- Demonstration may require practice.
