Abstract:

This stop clock can measure time with a accuracy of one one-hundredth of a second.

Setup and Procedure:

  1. Plug in the clock, standard 110Vac.
  2. Toggle and hold down the red switch to the right, to reset the clock.
  3. Toggle and hold down the red switch to the left, to measure the time interval.

Discussion:

The stop clock centisecond hand sweeps all the way around the face every second. It is capable of measure up to one minute in 100th of a second increments. The clock can help demonstrate what a second is.
