We are using CST's integral equation solver to simulate the diffraction of the optical beam as it propagates through the system. The largest mirror is ~40cm in radius and we care about frequencies in the 400-500GHz range. We are only simulating the mirrors in CST; we model them as perfect electric conductors. Our excitation source is a Near Field Source (NFS) that is created manually using .XML and .DAT file pairs. We are using field monitors to measure mirror illumination.
