Timbie group has been running some of the more intense job at CHTC at UW Madison. Here is the link to the CHTC website, where one can learn about the center, rules and available resources.

CHTC allows us to run jobs with higher memory (RAM) requirement and parallel-process many jobs if we can break a job into smaller parts (e.g. breaking a single job with 100 frequency sample into 50 jobs, each with two frequency samples and run ten of them at the same time).

In order to use CHTC, one should contact CHTC directly to discuss about the projects and set up an account. Once the account is set up, one should be able to run CST jobs right away as everything is set up and configured. One may find more elaborate description of the process on the CHTC website. Attached is an example submission file and script file, written by Gage Siebert of Timbie group. File:Example task.zip

One should edit the details of the submission file and the script file to successfully run the jobs. The CST command line options can be found here.
