Notes

  • This is on the negative index table right now.
  • The crystal is brewster cut so efficiency depends on polarization more than usual.
  • In order to get good efficiency, it is important to focus the beam down very close to the transducer (the side with the plastic cap). The spec sheet uses a beam size of .1 mm. It is ambiguous whether they mean waist or diameter. I think they mean diameter. I was getting >70% efficiency with using a 0.1 mm diameter beam as close to the transducer as possible.
