In order to communicate with this oscilloscope with GPIB, it needs to have the cartridge on the back with the GPIB, RS-232, and Centronix ports. The programmer manual above has a good description of how to configure the trace on the screen. It is a little confusing how to actually get the data from the trace on the computer. I'll post the Matlab code I wrote later.
