LabView 2017 instructions
We have a license file from NI for Labview 2017 which is locked to a Volume ID. See these instructions for how this was accomplished. In summary:
- Change VolumeID to match that stored in psafe labview_mass_deploy.
Install LabVIEW (puppet does it)
- update using National Instruments Package Manager
visit http://ni.com/activate
- Enter serial number and Computer ID (psafe labview_mass_deploy) to get Activation Codes
- Enter activation codes in to National Instruments License Manager. (Do not log in, close that window.)
activate license following deployment (see notes in puppet for how to reconfigure for new versions/changed names.)
Oceanview (1.6.7) 109, 307/308
- Run once to allow through firewall.
- It is nice to show the visible spectrum in the graph. Right-click on the graph, "Graph layer options", "Visible Spectrum" tab, "Show visible spectrum" radio button.
