Independent study projects progress meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month during in 4272 CH (HEP small conference room) from 5-7pm when a sufficient number of projects for credit are active. These meetings are required for students working for credit under Carlsmith’s supervision.
Each student should prepare a 5-slide powerpoint summarizing their progress during the past month and plans for the following month including action items. We have quite a few projects going so presentations must be kept short and to the point. You will have 5 minutes for presentation and five minutes for discussion and should be present to give feedback on all projects.

is set up so these reports may be uploaded and reviewed later by all participants. You may send your reports to Carlsmith in advance to be uploaded. New students are welcome to attend this meeting and to make a 5-min presentation about their interests.
