Independent study projects progress meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month during in 4272 CH (HEP small conference room) from 5-7pm when a sufficient number of projects for credit are active. These meetings are required for students working for credit under Carlsmith’s supervision on projects including in Spring 2014 the laser pointer, Troy, Foucault pendulum, quadcopter, EEG, 3d food printing, and 3d printer recycling.
Each student should prepare a 5-slide powerpoint summarizing their progress during the past month and plans for the following month including action items. We have quite a few projects going so presentations must be kept short and to the point. You will have 5 minutes for presentation and five minutes for discussion and should be present to give feedback on all projects.
For Fall 2017:

Brett Unks (unks at wisc.edu) will be in Garage MW 3:00-4:30pm.
