Introduction to Soldering

This miniclass will assemble and solder a working SparkFun kit like a multimeter or a microcontroller game such as Simon Says that you can take home. Watch for announcements on the email distribution list or contact the instructors for individualized instruction.

  • Practice making high quality through-hole solder joints.
  • Learn the basic soldering tools and how to use them to solder components to circuit boards.
  • Common problems with solder joints will also be addressed.
