This miniclass is four 2.5 hour sessions offered by Bill Zimmerman (wpzimmer@wisc.edu, 2-2339) in Plasma Physics. The four sessions cover safety, flux core wire feed welding, stick electrode welding, Al pulse Metal Inert Gas Welding, and Tungsten Inert Gas welding for steel. Welding of this sort generates hazardous amounts of UV radiation and requires clothing and a hood. Hoods are available for 3 participants. The class times are T, W, R 5-7:30 and classes will be held in 3274 CH. Contact Bill directly to indicate your interest.
