Austin Jeffries

Sophomore, Mechanical Engineering Major and Japanese Certificate

Austin was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin before enrolling at the University of Wisconsin in 2011. Currently a sophomore, he has been involved in the Distinguished Lecture Series since his freshmen year. Most recently, he has involved himself in Engineering without Borders where he hopes to use engineering to help others. Austin loves cycling, reading, photography, and folding Japanese origami. He hopes to use his engineering skills to one day work on designing future transportation systems.
