Abstract:

A sound level meter is used to measure the intensity of the instructor speaking, the audience, etc.

Important Setup Notes:

• The batteries may need to be changed.

Setup and Procedure:

1. Turn the sound meter on.
2. Talk at various volumes to show how the intensity changes.
3. Try other sources such as the murmur of the audience.
