Demonstration: A flat thin table top with small drilled holes is placed on top of a powerful fan. When the fan is on it will force air through the drilled holes there by applying a uniform force of air across the entire surface of the table. Objects on the table will move more freely due to the lowered coefficient of friction on the object. This demonstration simulates object moving on frictionless surfaces such as ice. .
